Navigation overhaul and quick search
Navigation is one of those things you don't notice until it's wrong. The original sidebar worked, but as the product grew to 15+ settings pages, 5 position tabs, and a talent pool, it needed a rethink.
What shipped
Sidebar redesign - Cleaner hierarchy, collapsible sections, and better visual grouping. The sidebar now scales with the product instead of fighting it.
Top navigation - A redesigned top bar with contextual breadcrumbs, quick actions, and better use of horizontal space.
Quick search - Press
⌘Kand start typing. MiniSearch indexes candidates, positions, settings pages, and docs with fuzzy matching. Typo-tolerant and fast, even with thousands of records.Toast notifications - Actions now give clear feedback through non-intrusive toast notifications (powered by Sonner) instead of page-level alerts.
The quick search indexing happens client-side with MiniSearch, so results appear as you type with zero network latency. The 77-file commit for the sidebar rebuild touched nearly every page layout - sometimes a UX improvement requires touching everything.
