Inviting your team

Add team members, assign roles, and manage permissions.

Sending invitations

Go to Settings → Team and click Invite member. Enter their email address and select a role. Bringboard sends an email invitation with a link to join your org.

You can also copy the invite link directly and send it through Slack, email, or any other channel. The link is valid for 7 days.

If someone on your team already has a Bringboard account with the same email, they'll be added to your org automatically when they click the invite link.

Roles

Every team member has one of three roles:

OwnerFull access to everything, including billing, org deletion, and ownership transfer. One owner per org.
AdminManage positions, candidates, team members, workflows, and all settings except billing and ownership.
MemberView and manage candidates for positions they're assigned to. Cannot change org settings or invite new members.

You can change a member's role from the team settings page. Ownership can be transferred to another admin.

Position-level assignments

Members with the Member role only see positions they're assigned to. Admins and Owners see all positions regardless of assignment.

To assign a member to a position, open the position's Settings tab and add them under Team. Assigned members receive email notifications for new applications and stage changes.

Removing members

To remove someone from your org, go to Settings → Team, find their name, and click Remove. This revokes their access immediately. Their past actions (emails sent, stage changes, notes) remain in the audit trail.
