Form editor

Add, remove, and reorder fields on a position's application form.

Each position has its own application form accessible from the Form tab on the position page. When a position is created, Bringboard copies your org's default form template.

Editing the form

The form editor shows the current field list in the order candidates will see them. You can:

  • Drag to reorder - grab a field's handle and move it up or down
  • Add a field - click Add field to pick from your org's field library or create a new field
  • Remove a field - click the X on a field to remove it from this form (the field stays in your library)
  • Toggle required - switch a field between required and optional
  • Set width - choose full-width or half-width to control layout

Identity fields

First name, last name, and email are always present and cannot be removed or reordered. They appear at the top of every form.

Half-width layout

Setting two consecutive fields to half-width places them side by side on the same row. This works well for pairs like city + country or start date + salary expectation.

Form changes only affect this position. Other positions and the org-level default template are not modified.

Preview

The form editor shows a live preview of how the form will appear to candidates on the careers page. Use this to check field order, required indicators, and the half-width layout.
