Booking interviews
Send scheduling links and let candidates self-book.
Scheduling links let candidates pick an interview time from your available slots, similar to Calendly or Cal.com.
Inserting a scheduling link
When composing an email to a candidate, click the calendar icon in the compose toolbar. A dialog appears where you select:
- The meeting type (e.g. Phone Screen, Technical Interview)
- The interviewer (must have a connected calendar)
- Optionally override the duration or lookahead window
Click Insert. A booking link is inserted into the email body. When the candidate clicks it, they see a scheduling page with available time slots.
The candidate's booking experience
- The candidate opens the link and sees a branded scheduling page with your org's logo and colors
- They browse available dates and times in their local timezone (auto-detected, changeable)
- They click a slot and confirm the booking
- A Google Calendar event is created with a Google Meet link. Both the interviewer and candidate receive calendar invites
Double-booking protection
When a candidate confirms a slot, Bringboard does a fresh availability check (bypassing the cache) to verify the slot is still free. If another candidate booked the same slot in the meantime, the page shows "This slot is no longer available" and refreshes the available times.
